INEFOP's approach within the National Vocational Training System

INEFOP – the National Institute for Employment and Vocational Training – is the institute assigned with the execution and accompaniment of the policies for initial vocational training as well as continuous vocational training for people in the employable age group. There are several tasks assigned, inter alia:

• Adjustment of the occupational profiles with regards to the ongoing technological developments
• Articulation of qualifications to guarantee connectivity to the National Education System
• Developing training courses to respond to the needs of the current labour market including upgrading courses.
• Enforcement of regulatory framework in the field of initial and continuous vocational training
• Structure of the curriculum for initial vocational training / learning
• Structure of the curriculum for continuous vocational training of active adults.
