In the first half of 2012, the FormPRO partners, together with experienced Angolan workers, developed occupational profiles for three professions (Trainer, Bricklayer, Electrician). On this basis a curriculum will be elaborated for the profession Electrician. One crucial aspect in doing so will be, once again, to train the staff of the National Institute for Employment and Vocational Training (INEFOP) in order to qualify it to carry out these development tasks independently. The whole process comprises 3 joint workshops which will be headed by two international consultants.
Technical and management staff of INEFOP will receive an introduction into the development of curricula. This includes carrying out the first steps to develop a curriculum for the profession Electrician, in cooperation with experienced trainers and selected Angolan electricians, as well as planning the next steps of the process.
