From 13 to 14 of September 2012, the Institute of Education of the University of Zurich is organising an international conference on “Policy Transfer in Vocational Skills Development Revisited”. Its objective is to review the role of vocational skills development (VSD) in international development cooperation. In particular, the conference will focus on the transfer of globalised VSD models, such as the dual system and national qualification frameworks.
The conference counts on the participation of several political and organizational decision makers. It aims at a better understanding of how these models can be adapted to specific national and local contexts in order to secure the success of the reforms. Representatives from INEFOP will participate.
